Water Technology Incubator:

Water Technology Incubator is an intensive training program that provides a variety of services aimed at transforming ideas and innovations in the water technology sector into effective economic projects in the market, and qualifying entrepreneurs by providing them with financial support, guidance, and mentorship. The incubator also works to create an effective leadership system that contributes to facing the challenges, overcoming the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs, enabling them to enter the market, and enhance growth and sustainability opportunities for small and medium enterprises. In addition, enhancing entrepreneurial skills to acquire new skills in the field of entrepreneurship and establishing projects, which will contribute to increasing the rate of business growth in Saudi Arabia. It targets the water, industry, and energy sectors to achieve integration between them.

 

Stages of the Incubation Program:

  • Pre-incubation stage:

The incubator offers a variety of practical workshops specialized in the field of entrepreneurship, reverse engineering, and water technologies in order to raise awareness in the field of entrepreneurship in the water technology sector.

 

  • Incubation stage:

    The incubator provides advisory, technical, and legal services, business establishment, marketing services, and facilitating access to investment channels to access the supply chain, including registration as an approved supplier with the General Desalination Corporation.

     
  • Graduation stage:

    At the graduation stage, the incubator provides a variety of services to the graduated project owners, including hosting conferences and seminars and introducing the project to government agencies and the private sector to facilitate access to investors.


Stages of Acceptance

The participating projects go through four stages to complete the acceptance procedures: 

1- Application of the idea through the website.

2- The applicant fills out the prototype and then evaluates it by the business development department at the center. 

3- the personal aspects and the level of readiness of the project from the artistic and technical aspects are evaluated through a personal interview. 

4- The applicant completes the necessary documents to sign the incubation contract. In the last stage, the incubation agreement is concluded and the objectives of the project progress are determined.​
